Just read your article on time travel on Slate.com. If you haven’t checked out the movie “Primer” (2004), you definitely should for a few reasons: 1) it deals with time travel in what seems like the most accurate way I’ve seen, 2) it is mind-bendingly complex. It seems simple at first, but by the end, it baked my noodle big time, and 3) it was made for $7,000 and won a big prize at Sundance. It is a very interesting movie. Check it out. Curious to see what others think of it.

Alan beat me to the punch, so I’ll just go ahead and second his recommendation. After several viewings the only thing I’m certain of is that I STILL don’t really follow this film, but it is definitely a time travel film geared toward physics geeks.

Great article – and I was also surprised you didn’t mention Primer! Definitely one of those movies you have to watch 3 or 4 times (and it’s not a very long movie) in order to get all the timelines straight.

I also found my way from the Slate article to this site to recommend Primer! Now THERE’S a film I’d like to see you break apart.

Thanks for the nice article, Dave.

Watch “Primer” with the commentary track on. The director gives some extra insight into the story and actually confesses that he made the ending extra-confusing from the first cut!
